Michelle Arnot, the well-known puzzle authority, whose publication includes Crossword Puzzles for Dummies and Four-Letter Words: Secrets of a Crossword Insider, organized “Sudoku Fun Day” on Feb. 6th at Tokyo American Club. More than 50 Sudoku fans and their family members enjoyed listening to Maki Kaji on the history of Sudoku which was followed by Sudoku competitions.

Winners received Nikoli’s original T-shirts, tenugui and books. Kei Nakata from Nikoli also gave a workshop on solving Sudoku by using logic mind. Founded in 1928, Tokyo American Club now offers a wide range of cultural, business and recreational activities to more than 3,500 members from 50-plus nations under the current president Mr. Lance Lee.
