img14050001_1 Tokyo Puzzle Day was held at RiSuPia Panasonic Center in Tokyo on April 26th and 27th. RiSuPia is a hands-on museum where visitors can experience science and mathematics in the various forms of technologies.

More than 3000 people came to the event and enjoyed the variety of puzzles from Jigsaw puzzle, Rubik's Cube, Cast Puzzle to Pencil Puzzles. Nikoli gave workshops on "how to make crosswords" and other pencil puzzles. Mari Shimizu, who creates illustration, puzzles at Nikoli, contributed to the event by designing the entrance puzzle panels.

The Puzzle Day event also featured the exhibit of rare and unique puzzles throughout the history. Other popular programs included the cardboard box puzzles, how to make craft puzzles at home as well as the program to compete with Rubik's Cube World Champion.
